APRIL EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
Stacey Herndon
Stacey has worked at RHCC for the past 4 years as the Laboratory Manager.
Stacey is originally from Massachusetts, and she moved here in 2018 after living in Kentucky for almost 18 years.
She has been married to her husband Eric, who is currently a science teacher at FHS, for 20 years, and they have three kids. Kaylee is 19 years old and is currently a freshman at South Dakota School of Mines. Riley is 15 years old, and Bailey is 11 years old.
In Stacey’s free time she likes to knit, play with her new embroidery machine (still a work in progress), and spend time with her family and cats! She also enjoys fixing things even though there are almost always extra pieces when she is finished! — If she wouldn’t have become a Med Tech, she was thinking of becoming a mechanic at one point in time.
Stacey also enjoys listening to all different kinds of music, especially when she has it on vinyl. She also enjoys collecting records even though she is reminded frequently about how you can access the same music on YouTube, but she believes it is just not the same.
Stacey also loves to refer to a passage from the bible, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
